On the Road and In the Warehouse

SCE has an excellent safety record. Our Safety Department’s chief goal is to keep our drivers and fleet—and your merchandize—as safe as possible.

	Insurance and accident ratio: We are fully insured and have an extremely low accident ratio. This is at least in part contributable to the fact that both our drivers and our trucks are kept in excellent condition.

	Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA): SCE has one of the best safety records within the harbor drayage community. This data is a matter of public record and can be viewed on their website, www.safersys.org.

	TWIC: Southern Counties Express is fully compliant with the federal TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) program.

	Logbooks: Each of our drivers keeps an accurate logbook of their hours on the road. Those books are scanned daily and audited on a regular basis. This ensures that no-one works in excess of the United States Department of Transportation’s daily and weekly Driving Time Regulations. Which, in turn means that your cargo is in the hands of a fit driver.
