At Southern Counties Express, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with exceptional customer service. Our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are highly-trained and account dedicated. When you hire us, you will always know who to call for help. You will have a CSR dedicated to your account, fully apprised of your shipping needs and able to tell you where your cargo is and when it will arrive at its destination. Our CSRs make use of the numerous technologies at their disposal to keep track of your containers. Our newest development is an automated tracing system. Every fifteen minutes, this system automatically traces the availability of your containers from all the steamship line websites and portals including emodal and PierPASS. With free time at the port shortened to four days, this system will closely monitor your last free days and prevent containers from entering into demurrage.
When we say customer service, we’re talking about the entire process. We offer all kinds of special services, like cross-docking, transloading, consolidation or deconsolidation – whatever your distribution needs might be, we will work with you and come up with a plan to make it happen. Southern Counties Express realizes that each customer’s needs are unique. This is not a one size fits all industry. We carefully analyze each potential client’s needs in order to assess the feasibility of an effective partnership. That doesn’t end when you become an SCE customer.
